Are you down? That’s what we want to know as we challenge our adventure boundaries with some juicy travel propositions. But first, travel news becomes travel quick hits, as we share some of the stories and musings that have been entertaining us this week, including Nevada’s creepy clown motel and a borderline bonkers themed experience south of the border. Strap on your parachute and get in that shark cage, it’s time to hit the trail with the Gold Key Adventurers Society!

Since there’s not a whole lot of good news worth sharing in the travel world these days, we decided to retool our News Segment into a series of “Quick Takes”, stories that have caught our imagination, but might not be big enough to warrant a full episode of their own. We’ll also continue with our recurring bits, and add a few more for your listening pleasure. 

This week, Jess introduces his new segment, The Week in Theme Park History. Heather tells us all about how animals have started living their best lives now that all the humans are hunkered down inside. Jeff shares a tip to help make your travel photography look more interesting and artistic- get low! Dan takes us to Nevada’s Clown Hotel and The Garden of Eden (in Kansas), plus shares virtual excursions courtesy of Air BnB, the most important survival skill an adventurer can learn, and a fancy travel cooler that’s Mando Approved.
